This is an online community home base for online courses, apps, and other content created by Shelly Hokanson. It is a positive space for personal development, lifelong learning, and sharing a common love of makeup, skin care, beauty, and creative self expression.
Geek Out of Water is going strong and will continue to focus on beauty product reviews and skin care/makeup tutorials. Courses on UncommonlyBeautiful.me are structured as more traditional courses, broken into lessons, with supplemental handouts, quizzes, etc. The content dives deeper into topics than on GOOW. This space will also include more personal development topics than GOOW.
Additionally, UncommonlyBeautiful.me will be the home of Shelly’s beauty-related apps.
Yes! You can complete as many courses as you would like within your membership level and repeat the content as often as you’d like. All courses are designed to be completed at your own pace, and new courses will be added regularly.
Pricing is yet to be determined for premium memberships. More information will be provided as we get closer to the first app launch, summer 2021.
You can pay via credit card or PayPal for premium memberships. The free membership will always remain free with credit card or payment information required.
New course content will be added every 1-2 months. New app content is expected to launch in the summer of 2021.
